Fashion marketing and Social Media Manager internship for Periodical period-wear brand. Periodical is an independent womenswear brand specializing in comfortable, effortless styles, designed for wearing whilst on your period.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO:
This role entails building a strong social media presence and brand engagement from the ground up. This role is for someone who is passionate to join an independent business with a cause and has the opportunity for growth.
Very flexible working hours and opportunities for creative freedom and independence within the role. One day a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the social media channels including Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook.
- Creating content for social media and planning posts & long term strategies.
- Responsible for influencer identification and target lists for campaigns.
- Manage end-to-end influencer communications and relations.
- Research and writing of blog posts and newsletters.
- Establishing and monitoring Facebook communities.
- Responsible for setting clear campaign/influencer objectives, based on analytical insight, and reporting post-campaign results.
- Manage planned activity to deliver profitable campaigns, through avenues such a Facebook, affiliations links, etc.
- Working with the team to deliver value-adding, brand building activity.
REQUIREMENTS
- The individual must have an interest in female empowerment and an ability to communicate openly about all topics related to the menstrual cycle.
- Be a positive, highly motivated self-starter, with a natural and passionate interest in digital media and content.
- Keen interest in Influencer marketing.
- Strong communication, networking and relationship skills, with the ability to develop long-lasting relationships with potential brand ambassadors - confident and sociable communication approach.
- Excellent organization, multi-tasking and project management skills.
- An interest in sustainability and ethical fashion.
- Knowledge of social media trends.
- A desire to learn and throw themselves into a small business.
- Confidence and the ability to use their initiative.
- Experience in using Photoshop or other editing software.
- A degree or studying for a degree in fashion, marketing, business or something related is a preferred but not a requirement. Alternatively, experience in a social media management role would be a plus.
