Marketing Executive

The Job:
We are looking for an end to end Marketing Executive to join the team as our first full-time marketing employee. You’ll be supported by a very experienced team who have grown successful startups in the past.

You'll be contributing to running the day-to-day marketing function at Canvas. This will include a lot of copywriting for advertising and social media, as well as keeping our website updated. You'll get to roll up your sleeves and support the sales team, keeping them supplied with leads and be a key member of the marketing team, using your creativity to spot areas of opportunity for Canvas.

This is a great opportunity to be involved from the very beginning as we gear up for growth from 15 people to 100 and over, and to grow with the marketing team as it expands.

Requirements:

• Great copywriting skills and the ability to come up with creative ideas for content and brand portfolio packages
• Experience with the day to day running of online advertising, making sure listings are current, effective and generating leads
• Experience updating LinkedIn and social media sites
• Experience with Google analytics and social media reporting
• A passion for digital marketing & continually growing engagement across social channels
• Great organisational skills, attention to detail & eagerness to take initiative and accountability
• Comfortable working in a startup environment as an autonomous self-starter who gets things done
• The ability to handle the administrative tasks along with ‘out of the box’ thinking on a strategic level
