Chief Marketing Officer & Co-Founder

Looking for an experienced and proven marketing leader to join a new ed-tech startup that is on a mission to transform the way people learn!

What’s the opportunity?

As the Chief Marketing Officer for Your Personal Professor, you will be responsible for creating, defining and implementing our marketing and growth programs. You will be on the ground floor of building a brand, creating and launching a marketing strategy and building an online community.

What will you be doing?

You will work directly with the Founder/CEO to build, launch and grow an online community that focuses on empowering students. Take ownership of our online presence, community growth strategy and client acquisition programs. To be successful, you will have strong experience building and running personalized inbound/outbound marketing campaigns and growing online communities to drive consistent revenue growth.

Collaborate and lead across the organization. As we continue to grow, you will represent the voice of the customer within the organization bringing your insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, user experience and engineering.

As we grow revenue and secure funding, you will build a marketing department including identifying talent needs, hiring and leading a high-performing integrated marketing team.

In this key position, you will implement initiatives that grow the brand as well as maximize the revenue for the company. We are looking for a talented, creative and analytical individual, an excellent communicator, a person who's able to multitask and work successfully both independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

At Your Personal Professor, we focus on the expected results you as our Marketing Manager will need to achieve. You will experiment, learn, and adjust as you go, and along your journey, you'll be responsible for:

• Introducing and expanding our brand into new markets, and continuously help us grow among existing and potential clients
• Developing and implementing growth and marketing strategies
• Identifying, attracting and developing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations
• Expanding our network
