Social media and marketing / Get-the-beer-out-the-door internship

Like beer? Dont we all, but 87 million pints of it went to waste last year with our pubs closing. That's enough to fill: 20 Olympic swimming pools, 495,000 baths, or 33 million kettles. Oof, sad times.

At Green Bottle Shop we hate watching beautiful, beautiful beer go to waste. That is why we are putting an end to it. We buy spare beer from pubs and breweries and sell it on our online bottle shop or B2B to other on-trade businesses who can make sure it doesn't go undrunk. We are passionate about fighting food waste, supporting local businesses, and helping craft beer become more affordable to the masses. Beer for all!

Key responsibilities of the role are:

Assist in developing the sales and marketing strategy of the business (with particular focus on social media).
Get creative while managing the business' social media accounts.
Own both B2B and D2C customer acquisition.
Most excitingly you'll be one of the founding members of a business keen on bringing about positive social and environmental change.

Social media management experience (whether study or work) is necessary and the ideal candidate will be confident in bringing their own sense of humour and personality to the role 🍻 Cheers!
