The Role

Good Sixty is an ethical and sustainable grocery delivery platform working with over 350 independent food retailers and are the official digital partner with London’s famous Borough Market.
We are a team of enthusiastic individuals with ambitious plans. We are already operating in six cities in the UK and have plans to launch a new service in Leeds in October this year.
We are looking for a Logistics and Marketing Coordinator to look after practicalities of retail shop that represents the Good Sixty brand.
The role will involve managing logistics and deliveries from the Leeds Market, as well as managing customer relations and communication with the Marketing and Sales Teams.
We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is not afraid of challenges and is hungry to step up.

THE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Planning logistics for the day, communicating with traders and customers to ensure smooth operations on the day.
  • Packing and consolidating customer orders.
  • Manging the Good Sixty hub, ensuring all Health & Safety rules are followed.
  • Driving a van to deliver orders to customers and offices in Leeds.
  • Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed, flagging any possible risks to the Operations Manager.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Ability to drive a medium-sized van.
Professionalism and customer service skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Position may require some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, and standing, walking, and light lifting (not in excess of 20kg).
Ability to work additional hours which includes evenings and weekends.
Ability to work under pressure.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to anticipate obstacles and plan appropriately to mitigate risks.
