Job Description
As a Business Development Associate you will be a key team member that will engage directly with various business partners including incubators/accelerators/studios, investors, universities, NGOs, and federal agencies. You should be excellent at building relationships, develop quick rapport with new connections, and people should naturally gravitate towards working with you. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, tenacity, grit, and adaptability mentalities with the ability to thrive in the fast-paced, ever-changing environment of scaling startup. An unwavering determination and a solid commitment to your personal growth and the company’s success is a must. You will maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials and exercise a high level of discretion when interfacing with all aspects of the role and will represent OmniSync in a positive light through great follow-through, superior customer service, and sound judgment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following and under moderate supervision:
- Must close sales opportunities and meet goals as assigned. Full sales cycle management from prospecting, demos, and upsell/cross sell opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and quotes within our CRM to ensure the integrity of our customer and partner databases.
- Proactively respond to assigned sales qualified leads, building a robust pipeline for our products and services.
- Assist in guiding the support/success team in getting newly won client to go live.
- Assist in the refinement of continued customer discovery, TOWS analysis, ideal customer profiles, unique value propositions, and assist with the development of marketing materials for sales.
- Work closely with our diverse team of engineering, designers, and business partners to help ensure the customer’s voice is being and needs are being addressed
- Capable to travel 50% of the time, domestically when required, to support current customers/projects as well as facilitate new customers/projects
- Performs other duties, research and special projects, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, or 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple projects with various urgency and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Quick learner and a self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
- English fluency with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage with partners.
- Startup hustler, problem-solver, takes initiative and ownership of their work
- Self-reliant, can run with minimal direction, and enjoys freedom to explore creative strategies

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: $58,800.00 - $66,560.00 USD, plus commission
Full benefits coverage, 401K plans with matching, plus stock options
Hybrid: Must be able and willing to be in our office in San Diego, 92123 at least twice a week with additional days as needed for innovation-fostering collaborations.
