Business Development / Partnerships Lead

We are looking for a proactive individual who is energized by becoming our Business Development Lead. If you love startups and the Venture Capitalists (VCs) who fund them plus the tech partnership ecosystem, then this role is for you. You'll work directly with the CEO who is a 4x founder has made 150+ investments, is General Partner of a Fund, and needs help sifting through all the deals (plus sharing those deals with other VCs). We speak, interact and meet with multiple VCs every week. If building relationships in the venture ecosystem excites you, then you'll love this role.
The ideal person in this role will be very proactive, have perfect written and verbal English, is creative, and can easily consider the wider picture. You have to be dogged but also suave and mature enough to create strong relationships even from afar. You will have experience with VCs and startups and can speak their language. You love win-wins.

Some examples of the work you’ll do:
- Do your own research on top VCs and partners to meet & build relationships with.
- Build relationships with those VCs and partners to the point where they are sending levy a significant number of deals on a regular basis
- Creatively manage and come up with partnership events, ideas, collaborations and more. How can levy stand out from the crowd and be a valuable ecosystem partner?
- Track metrics. We are data-driven. If you dislike data or expect someone else to build dashboards for you, this is the wrong role for you
- TLDR: you will be the face, with our CEO, of levy to our partners. You must have the confidence, drive, and intelligence to be someone our partners think and care about.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 3+ years of business development, sales or other related experience.
- 5+ years (required) working with/targeting US businesses (ideally startups or VCs).
- Flawless verbal and written English.
- You must have experience in both generating and closing your own leads.
- Comfort using outbound campaign tools.
- Enjoyment being on the cutting edge of technology - how can we leverage technology to leap ahead of our competitors?
- Experience with a variety of CRMs.
- Smart, detail-oriented, a multi-tasker with GREAT communication skills!
- You are comfortable (and enjoy) working US business hours.
*Compensation: *
- $1500 - $3000 per month based on commission.
