The Role

What you will do
Make an impact by joining a business that is addressing global food security by digitising the most critical industry, agriculture.

As the Digital Marketing Manager you will report to the Head of Marketing to advance business performance by implementing global digital best practice for a fast-growth agritech business.

You will bring first hand experience connecting websites, marketing automation systems, eCommerce and Salesforce to deliver an integrated marketing platform with full data visibility and operational automation.

Your key responsibilities that will make an impact

  • Drive the strategy, development and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns that efficiently acquire qualified leads across multiple channels including SEM, remarketing, paid social, display and programmatic.
  • Increase marketing efficiency, leveraging marketing automation and various platforms to facilitate digital acquisition and engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Plan and execute lead acquisition strategies, improving the lead funnel, quantity and customer engagement.
  • Analyse KPIs on an ongoing basis to ensure that campaigns are maximising return on ad spend.
  • Identify, explore, and prioritise new opportunities and strategies that will assist with scaling global acquisition and growth efforts via digital marketing channels.
  • Demonstrate historical data, industry benchmarks, and past experience to provide performance projections across digital performance channels.
  • Manage performance metrics (i.e. LTV, CAC, etc.) and budget tracking. Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to turn performance marketing data into meaningful insights to improve marketing effectiveness and return on investment (e.g. improved conversion rates, increased win rate, etc.)
  • Work with the Product and Customer Service teams to build comprehensive, end-to-end experiences and automation flows for customers
  • Develop GTM plans for product launch and in platform adoption
  • Manage PPC until we onboard a dedicated Digital Marketing agency / person
  • Successfully manage external marketing agencies where appropriate to brief, build and execute plans

Your tool stack

  • 4+ years in a digital marketing, acquisition, or automation marketing role
  • Tech savvy and data led with an in depth understanding of how data is used to drive marketing
  • Strong knowledge of technologies associated with the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns (e.g. Google Marketing Platform - Analytics, Search Ads, Display & Video, Facebook Business Manager, Salesforce)
  • Proven results in effective ROI and growth in campaigns you have managed
  • Contributed directly to tech integration and automation of marketing workflows using tools like Salesforce, Shopify, WooCommerce, Segment, Marketo, Customer.io
  • Cross functional stakeholder and external management skills with the ability to challenge thinking and make an impact
  • Experience creating, strategising and optimising automated eCommerce flows (Abandon Cart, Welcome Series, Post Purchase etc.)
  • Experience executing customer lifecycle activities including direct and content marketing, 1:1 automated event and trigger-based programs
