Strategic Launch Intern

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a resourceful, passionate, innovative, and self-motivated thought leader to join our logistics strategy launch team. The ideal candidate will support the team and platform users in a wide array of launch operation activities with our pilot.

This is a great way for an energetic student to get on-hands business strategy, operations, logistics and launch experience in a fast-paced startup environment. The chosen candidate will have a substantial opportunity to make a significant impact and really gain valuable experience in a critical time of a startup’s life cycle.

Our focus area is in Toronto with a centre point being in the around King West and Spadina intersection.

OUR BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

· 1+ years of driving experience

· Smart Phone with a data plan

· Great customer service

· Speak English fluently

· Car or bicycle

*** if you have smart serve certification - this is a plus!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Be an instrumental member of the pilot launch in Toronto gaining valuable experience in logistics, micro-mobility, on demand fulfilment and double sided platforms:

Drive packages for our large partner on-demand and analyze the process from end to end determining bright spots and areas that will be targeted for improvement;

Develop strategies based on hands on driver experience to recommend solutions to senior leadership for platform improvement;

Earn money using our mobile app, wherein you will accept delivery orders, acting as a brand ambassador to TrunkSpaces when picking up and dropping off shipments, and take photographs of the order accepted on pickup and again at delivery.

WHO YOU ARE:

A person with a disruptive innovation mindset

Energetic self-starter

A student in Business / Strategy / Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain or a related field.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent mapping skills.

Ability to think on your feet.

Ability to be empathetic towards customers.

Customer service skills.

Ability to determine the best driving routes when GPS fails.

You are highly organized and attentive to details.

You are nimble and able to quickly pivot strategy.

You are a rapid multi-tasker who can keep many irons in the fire.
