Job Description:
We are a fast-growing vacation home rental company start-up, looking for a reliable and responsible Operations Manager to join our team!
Park Place Property Management is looking for a qualified Operations Manager to play an integral role of managing our growing portfolio of rental suites and luxurious properties. Our clients trust us to manage their most prized possession -- their home. This role is dynamic, bringing with it new and exciting challenges and every day. It is your responsibility to ensure that unexpected issues are resolved right away to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with our team to build, transform and scale our business operations across the GTA.
Oversee the on-boarding pipeline from planning and executing renovations to bringing homes and units to rentable status.
Communicate and track tasks using a host of apps such as Asana, Slack, HubSpot and WhatsApp.
Day-to-day tasks including onboarding new locations, coordinating maintenance and solving logistical issues.
Quality control and unit inspections.
Ensuring housekeeping excellence.
Supervising the check-in process and key management of properties.
Identify and execute local market growth opportunities.
Work with the central teams to create and support initiatives that ensure there is a consistent flow of available nights from new and existing customers.
Lead local onboarding and offboarding initiatives for cleaners and maintenance.
Maintain a supportive, fulfilling and rewarding culture to support retention.
Emergency response management.
Inventory management.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, decision-making and management skills, a self-starter with strong analytical capabilities and emotional intelligence.
Solid understanding of short-term, medium and long-term tenants for guests; bonus if you have previously worked in the hospitality industry.
Availability to work 7 days a week, and on an on-call basis.
Ability to develop professional relationships with clients.
Proven ability to handle ambiguous situations and problem solve without defined standards, operating systems and processes.
Occasionally handle physical work and complete minor maintenance jobs
Comfortable working with a rapidly evolving work environment and takes initiative
Shift Days: Monday - Friday and occasional weekends.
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (schedule may vary depending on demand)
