The Role

This role provides the combined organisations of AustCyber and Stone & Chalk with comprehensive support on the delivery of our mission, with specific responsibility for driving the retention and growth of Corporate or Government partnerships. As a result, you will help ensure our customers, partners and Government stakeholders have a great experience with us and what we deliver for and with them.

You will also undertake key pieces of research to help inform the Growth & Partnerships team’s strategic direction and execution of key program components, as well as playing a pivotal role in activating collateral and thought leadership activities in support of customer delivery. This will also support the Government Relations & Advocacy Lead in their key role as the interface between the combined organisation and our Federal, State / Territory and Local government partners as well as our policy advocacy work to create the right environment for Australian emerging technologies and services to be commercialised and thrive.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information for customer and partner facing projects within the Growth & Partnerships team as well as contribute to internal projects that support continuous improvement, including for the Government Relations & Advocacy function.
  • Support the management of project activation timeframes, scheduling, reporting and budget, together with points of intersection and dependence with other projects, updating all members of project teams which are generally cross functional and span across the country.
  • Keep abreast of activity occurring within the Growth & Partnerships team, expanding the team’s reach and schedule of activity in market as well as internally.
  • Act as a key conduit of communication between internal and external stakeholders and the Growth & Partnerships team.
  • Work with the Government Relations & Advocacy Lead on key areas of focus where this effort will also benefit the targets and delivery of the Growth & Partnerships team, on the agreement between the Head of Growth & Partnerships and the Government Relations & Advocacy Lead.
  • Work closely with the Communication & Events and Product & Ecosystem teams to ensure a coordinated approach to key activities.
  • Research specific areas of focus as required to inform the team’s direction, activities, and partner engagement, as well as for activation of program and project components.
  • Identify, and analyse risks and issues, work with Project Leads to eliminate blockers.
  • Deliver NPS surveys to customers and partners, collating feedback to inform future improvement initiatives.
  • Develop close working relationships with external consultants or contractors for projects where relevant.
  • Continually utilise insights gathered to inform the direction of the team’s effort from a continuous improvement perspective

Success Metrics

  • Delivery of Partnership Engagement Plans aligned to scheduled timelines, objectives and Growth & Partnership team goals, aligned to the combined organisation’s strategy and business plans.
  • Delivery of projects and programs as per project/program plan.
  • Delivery of high-quality research to the Government Relations & Advocacy Lead and the Growth & and Partnerships team.
