A bit about us:

Community video production (crowdsourced footage combined with automated production) is on trend to become the dominant form of video production within a decade. The biggest companies in the world are already heavily invested in user-generated content and for their marketing, a trend that new technology will enable to filter down to even the smallest community group in time.

Vloggi was a pioneer in community video production and today is the most advanced technology stack in this sector. We’re a platform, meaning we enable others businesses to collect and compile video clips created by their communities, be they comprised of customers, employees or supporters. We believe video production should be decentralised.

Part of our growth strategy is centred on educating new and existing clients on the potential for our platform in their marketing and communications mix.

We are looking for a self-starting, proven sales executive who will take risks in researching new commercial opportunities in sectors both known and unknown to us. This person will identify new opportunities for growth and execute a sales strategy to maximise those opportunities for video production at scale.

As business development manager, you will take ownership of key customer segments, optimising the conversion funnel and securing annual subscriptions from clients. In addition, as sales grow, so will your team. You will be able to design and run the customer journey for business customers of Vloggi, and build a sizeable team to run it.

You will deploy any and all resources possible to increase the value and success of the businesses building on Vloggi, and will understand our product deeply enough to have most conversations self-enabled. You have ambitions to lead a global, industry-defining product to worldwide success at one of the world’s fastest-growing startups.

You will have the opportunity to:
◦ Build a world-class, highly scalable sales team from scratch, enabling community video production from large corporates to online communities
◦ Grow our customers’ revenue through video content marketing advice
◦ Lead customers through our platform consult with them on their video content marketing strategy to ensure effective use of our platform
◦ Create a scalable playbook for customer success
◦ Track accounts to identify churn risk, and work proactively to eliminate that risk
◦ Assume ownership of the business development strategy for Vloggi, including execution plans and metrics to optimise customer satisfaction
◦ Be a constant advocate for business subscribers of Vloggi
◦ Directly manage relationships with Vloggi’s most important customers
You’ll have:
◦ At least 4+ years of experience in business development or technical pre-sales in a high tech, B2B2C, or SaaS company
◦ Enterprise account experience working with B2B & B2C audiences
◦ Experience in customer success for an API based software product
◦ Exceptional communication skills, with a positive and practical approach
◦ Proven ability to meet and exceed retention targets
◦ Proven ability to manage and execute business strategies and plans globally
Some extra skills:
◦ B2B2C software company customer success experience
◦ A background in or knowledge of video
◦ Created a Customer Success program at scale (hundreds of customers) successfully
