Looking for a senior engineer to build a secure, end-to-end mental health platform for our patients. Our goal is to develop a state of the art platform where customer can video chat with doctor, gets precription and therapy all in the same app.

A front end developer with strong focus on UI (interactions, aesthetics) and a demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining production services. This role will be a mixture of technical design, individual contribution, and in depth testing.

Responsible for:

• Design the front end for web platform and iphone app where customer will interact with provider • Create backend for storing data, provider interface, measuring outcome for customer, appointment and insurance management
• Create a aesthetic and simple flow where customers can easily log in and meet health care provider with as less steps involved as possible
• The design is supposed to be minimalistic. So customer does not need spend much energy into figuring out what to do next. Once the customer logs on the website, they can smoothly follow the design to sign up.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in designing, implementing & supporting highly scalable systems and services in Java, Scala and/or other JVM-based languages. • A good sense of design and how it interacts to customer experience with UI • Designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications with a particular emphasis on the UI (interactions, aesthetics, etc.)
• Any kind of valuable experience with design, Arts & aesthetics
• Self-starter with strong customer and product focus
• Write bullet-proof code for (thread-safe, performant, object-oriented, and inherently testable)
• Able to communicate thoughtfully, using problem-solving skills and a learning mentality to build long-term relationships
• Excellent judgment and integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions • Advanced scripting abilities, creating normalized, high-performant, and modular scripts • Ability to write code which is functional and elegant.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education & Experience:

• BS degree in computer science or equivalent field. Plus 10+ years software development experience or MS degree plus 1-2 years software development experience (or equivalent) • Experience in machine learning, pattern recognition is highly valued • Background in Arts and design is a plus
