The Role
As a WordPress Developer, you primarily have to be proficient with developing customized WordPress themes from PSD reference mock-ups.
You also must be fluent in PHP, CSS, and HTML. Experience with Javascript / jQuery is also a huge asset.
Our team members all work from home as independent contractors, but a local presence in Brooklyn is preferred. Candidates for this job must be communicative, professional, and conscientious. Adherence to deadlines is essential as we don't work out of a centralized office. If you're familiar with the Monday project management software, even better, as our project manager and team communicates throughout the day on the platform.
As we're a small team, opportunities for equity and leadership roles are definitely possible in the future as the team grows.
