Software Engineer

ivee reimagines healthcare delivery by empowering patients to receive at-home health and wellness services. Our product is a platform that connects people to on-demand in-home treatments and incredible clinicians to help manage their care. We've recently closed a seed round from top VCs and are looking to expand our team, hiring for a variety of roles.

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a product-obsessed, driven, and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Software Engineer. This role will help build our patient and nurse experiences with a core focus on the backend APIs and services that power our products.

What You'll Do:

• Work with the product team to design and scope solutions: You will help the product team break feature requests into technical requirements, and help assess the impact on product roadmaps.
• Engage engineering leadership to help evolve our technology stack: Be a direct champion for continually evolving our technology at ivee. Help engineering leadership determine the best tools for any given job and have an open mind when taking on new tasks.
• Create maintainable, testable and scalable code: Your work will directly impact patient outcomes and the experience of nurses. Thoughtful, methodical effort is a must for this role.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Ruby, Python, .NET, etc.), object oriented design and data structures.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Datastores.
• Knowledge of Javascript, React, HTML etc. frontend technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
