Senior Fullstack Engineer

Peek is making housing more affordable by helping property managers operate more efficiently. The Peek platform starts with a fast, scalable solution to create virtual tours and the tools needed for property managers to market, organize and lease effectively. With the consumer engagement data we generate from user sessions, we are building AI/ML driven tools to help property managers identify and prioritize the highest quality prospective tenants.

The company is scaling rapidly, and we're looking to add a Senior Frontend Engineer to our team. You'll dive headfirst into working with a fast-growing startup working with some of the largest property owners and managers in the US. Our engineering team is still relatively small, and you will have a significant impact on the product and technical direction of the company.

Peek is headquartered in New York City, but runs a remote engineering organization with teams in the US, South America and India. This position is fully remote and open to anyone willing to work US (PST or EST) business hours

This position is not open to part-time, contractors, or agencies.

• Front-End Javascript development using React and Redux
• Back-End Javascript development using NodeJS, MongoDB
• Owning features from the idea phase through to production
• Maintaining a high quality and nimble codebase
• Collaborating with other engineers, our product designer, and cross-functionally

What Makes a Great Candidate

• 4+ years of full-stack web development experience
• A passion for building delightful interfaces
• Experience with relational databases
• A strong sense of user/product empathy--comfortable with building based on an understanding of user objectives as opposed to strict acceptance criteria.
• Passion for building the future of the real estate shopping experience

Valued But Not Required

• NodeJS and Javascript expertise
• Experience with React / Redux
