Shopify Team Lead

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a project manager for small to large custom website builds on the Shopify ecommerce platform. This role will be expected to work with clients through the whole project cycle from discovery, design, and development through to project launch. Additionally the role is responsible for making ongoing website recommendations and consulting with clients. An understanding of WordPress is a plus.

In addition, this role will work with our DevOps team to create and launch new products helping clients optimize their site for conversions and increase revenue with predictable performance based outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Expertise in Shopify, excellent communicator
• Background managing clients / project or account management
• Successfully creating products that drive results for clients
• Implementing systems the team can follow to deliver on created products
• Understanding of: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, PHP, Ajax, etc.
• Proficient in common 3rd party Technologies through experience. Examples include, but are not limited to platforms such as Hubspot, Formstack, Mailchimp, Google Analytics tools, Google Search Console, Google Optimize,
• Fundamental understanding of the concepts behind web hosting, cloud services, domain registration, DNS, SSL encryption, and email.
• Well versed in all major modern browser platforms and various versions of each browser. This includes both traditional desktop as well as mobile-web browser experiences/limitations.
• A basic understanding of hosting and server scalability, and the analysis required to handle heavy load of many concurrent requests
• A general understanding of development workflow cycles leveraging Git, staging environments, and various code 3rd party repository solutions.
