About the Team and Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to help lead our recruiting efforts across our global Engineering and Product teams, specifically in the dynamic and rapidly evolving fields of AI and machine learning! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruiting with specific experience in sourcing, attracting, and closing top-tier talent for Quora and Poe. This role demands a proactive and results-driven professional capable of working autonomously to not only fill current openings but also to collaborate with product development leaders to forecast future needs and build a robust talent pipeline.
This is a 6-month remote contract position that can be performed from multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a positive candidate experience as you oversee the recruitment process from outreach to offer, to attract and secure niche talent
Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers, understanding technical roles and advising on hiring strategies
Proactively source candidates through advanced methods, engaging passive talent and building a diverse talent pool
Serve as the initial point of contact for candidates, conducting interviews to ensure a strong first impression of the company
Maintain a strong professional network, keeping on top of market trends to position Quora as an employer of choice
Understand and action on recruitment metrics (conversion rates, time-to-hire etc) to refine processes and implement best practices in technical talent acquisition
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
5+ years of recruiting experience with a focus on technical roles, including hands-on experience recruiting for AI, machine learning, or other highly specialized technology sectors
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring passive candidates
Ability to adapt quickly to new requirements within a work in an agile, entrepreneurial team
In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting (either agency or in-house)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and lead recruiting projects
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with hiring candidates internationally
Prior full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
