Join us in our Shoreditch-based bustling office as we seek a dynamic and organised individual to take on the role of Workplace Experience Manager at Cleo. In this pivotal position, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our office operations run seamlessly while championing our vibrant company culture. From managing day-to-day administrative tasks to orchestrating engaging social events and overseeing office transformations, you'll play a central role in fostering a positive and productive work environment for our team. This opportunity entails a fixed-term contract for 18 months, stepping in to support our Workplace Experience Manager during their maternity leave. Initially, you'll provide assistance during a transition period, gradually assuming additional responsibilities as the Manager goes on leave. Reporting directly to the Head of People Partnerships, you'll play a key role in maintaining our office experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Keeping things ticking along smoothly for our team in our London office - Overseeing day-to-day office operations, handling supplies, equipment, and mail, and ensuring visitors are warmly welcomed and tended to are all part of the role.
  • Get ready to bring the party vibes! As the mastermind behind our weekly events, you'll be the ultimate host, ensuring everyone has a blast, whether they're in the office or joining remotely. From epic Christmas parties to summer bashes and off-site adventures, you'll organise it all. But that's not all – get creative with cooking classes, pet shows, and virtual quizzes to keep the excitement going. With the backing of our leadership team, you'll take the lead, making sure every event is a hit.
  • Office move - At the moment we are in a buzzing office space in the Tea Building in Shoreditch, but we’re also looking at moving to a bigger office later this year, which you’ll be supporting!
  • Ensuring the amazing culture at Cleo is nurtured globally for all employees (remote and office based), inclusive of different ways of working, communicating and socialising.
  • Helping us make sure we never miss a special day by managing the company gifts, cards and shoutouts process for things like birthdays, leavers, and new parents.
  • Ensuring budgets are tracked and financial records are maintained effectively for all office expenses.

About you

  • 5+ years of experience as an office manager or office coordinator, preferably in a fast growth tech company
  • You bring the vibes, and are able to take on a role which has a lot of operational management, whilst bringing your own flair & personality to Cleo and act as a culture carrier.
  • You like working independently and are highly organised. To be able to do this role well you need to be organised, unflappable and happy managing all aspects of a project.
  • We're looking for someone to be a consistent presence in our Shoreditch office, Monday through Friday, bringing their A-game every day.
  • You are a self starter and thrive in a role where you can jump into projects without always having all the information at hand.
  • You are able to scope out a situation and work out where you need to spend your time and have a keen eye to focus on what you can improve, and bring solutions. We love people who enjoy mapping out processes and documenting key information, and generally leave things better than they find them.
  • You are confident and full of ideas - this role will need you to work with everyone across the business, so you will need to be comfortable being the first point of contact for lots of people across a range of projects people are passionate about.
  • You will be willing to get stuck in and jump on anything that comes up to support the People team, even when its’ not specifically part of your day to day role.
  • No matter what's going on in your day to day role, it’s important that you are trustworthy, reliable and consistent.
