*About this job *
Esurgi seeks a highly motivated individual who can apply problem-solving skills to its flagship product: The Biostabilizer, a medical innovation aimed at relieving lower back pain. Interns will gain in-industry experience, hone their engineering skills, and build medical devices that transform the healthcare industry.
*Responsibilities *
· Using a provided kit with instructions, the ideal candidate will assemble the hardware of the Biostabilizer and work to revise the software code to fix any kinks and issues.
· Implement new features and troubleshoot code issues to pre existing products using C++ and Arduino code
-Working alongside the design team to ensure market readiness and streamlined user experience
-Will be assigned week-to-week assignments from the team leads, likely troubleshooting and revising code
Qualifications
- C++ or relevant programming experience
- Troubleshooting Arduino and working with a serial monitor
- Experienced with soldering, connecting wire, pnuematics such as a pressurization system and connecting tubing (similar to blood pressure cuff).
- App building and user interface experience wanted - eventually, the Biostabilizer will work alongside a mobile application to increase user efficiency
- Needs to be able to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
- Lives in or around Baltimore County, and have personal transportation

- Has strong communication skills, time managment, soft skills
- Can document and keep progress of the work that they are doing in a detailed manner
- Recently Graduated or Expected graduation of Spring 2021
- Pursuing or have a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
