We use proprietary damage assessment devices and software to verify civil structure integrity and safety. Our innovative technologies collect data and provide actionable insight in a safer, more efficient, reliable, and accurate manner compared to traditional subjective manual methods that are time consuming, inconsistent, costly, and dangerous.

About the role
As a modern data analytics company, Niricson is equally a physical as much as it is a digital entity. As the Cloud Infrastructure & Security manager, you are the architect and owner of the platform. In this role, you will identify, adapt and implement reference cloud architectures as projects by through your team, internal peer teams, & 3-party vendor organizations. Your customers range from tech-savvy engineers team leads, to business customers – all of whom you will work to ingest inbound data, share access to Niricson dashboards, or safely archive according to data residency requirements.

*Required Qualifications *

· MS/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or similar field.
· 5+ years of experience with Linux & Linux scripting, Infrastructure as Code.
· 5+ years of experience designing & building high-availability networks.
· 5+ years of experience/knowledge of infrastructure security topics.
· Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
· Presented technical solutions to C-level customer audiences.
· Demonstrated leadership skills, clear communications, and technical documentation.
· Maniacal attention to detail.

*Nice-to-Haves *

· Core understanding of AWS Well-Architected principles and services.
· Experience with Elastic Container Service (ECS), Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
· Other cloud experience and/or certifications. AWS Preferred.
· Experience with projects in the Geospatial Information Systems field.
· Knowledge and understanding of digital image processing.
