Chief Technology Officer

WalletCard, a 2020 Techstars portfolio company, is a growing SaaS company that is digitizing the workflow for health and safety processes and management. WalletCard works with clients and partners throughout North America ranging from small to enterprise companies. Our development core priorities encompass platform security, scalability and new product development.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to provide strategy and oversight to enhance and scale the WalletCard platform.

*Key Responsibilities:
*

• Lead and manage the software team
• Plan all features, wireframe and communicate with team
• Project manage development priorities and the product lead growth strategy
• Plan database architecture for continuous scalability
• Implement additional security measures
• Implement quality assurance measures for all new features and impacts to existing features

*Requirements:
*

• Minimum of 5+years development experience (preferably full-stack)
• Proven experience as a Senior Developer, CTO or similar leadership role
• Experience taking a startup to successful commercialization as a CTO, Director of Software Development or similar
• Experience in both operational management and software development areas with knowledge of technology trends
• Experience in project management to ensure timely deliverables
• Experience with Scrum and agile development methodologies
• Experience with documenting and creating technical submissions for SR&ED
