The ideal candidate will be based in Canada, preferably British Columbia, and will be instrumental in driving our product to new heights.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Developer to join our dynamic and innovative development team. As a seasoned professional, you will be integral in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that are robust, scalable, and meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a passion for coding, a dedication to delivering high-quality work, and the ability to lead by example within a team.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects.
Create high-level product specifications and design documents.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
Ensure continuous professional self-development and adherence to best practices within the industry.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing to ensure the quality and robustness of software applications.
Lead the research and adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
Collaborate with the customer support team to troubleshoot and resolve high-level escalated technical issues.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of software development experience, with a proven track record of developing enterprise-level applications.
Expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., Javascript, HTML, Python, JavaScript) and experience with modern frameworks and design patterns.
Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile development methodologies.
Experience with database design and management, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools.
Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.

Role Specifics
Flexible work hours with a preference for availability during core business hours for collaboration.
Remote work , but presence in British Columbia is required.
