Product Manager

Together with Team Product and Team Growth you will be co-responsible for developing and continuing the product roadmap and the technical foundation and sustainability of our platform.

What will you do?

You will be responsible together with the Head of Tech for guiding the product, and together with Team Growth in developing new features as well as keeping the platform future proof whilst making these changes. The development is done together with our Head of Tech, based in the Amsterdam office. Our remote team in Serbia consists of one frontender and one backender. Collaboration with the team (both the remote as in-office team) is close knit and frequent.

Performance monitoring is done on a continuous basis, and you are able to solve urgent issues yourself if needed. Having a platform with 110K users, issues will continuously arise and you will have to be able to determine the urgence directly.

About Charly Cares

We are childcare providers by creating a tech enabled and human validated platform for childcare services at home. We offer our services to families by connecting them to selected and curated caretakers - our Angels. The company operates as a platform that facilitates the matching, booking payment and quality control in order to make things simple and safe.

Founders Charly & Xander started the business in 2016 and we operate over 57 locations in The Netherlands. By now, we have a scalable platform infrastructure and we currently operate with a team of 12 from Amsterdam.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap by working with the strategy team, aligned to company strategy, objectives and key results.
• Manage & prioritize the backlog and sprint-planning in line with the roadmap, and ensure the team has well defined epics & stories, aligned to objectives & key Results.
• Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer needs, and gather data & insights from the various teams, to identify and prioritise product opportunities.
• Translate needs into product opportunities (features and ux) and be able to work collaboratively with a team of (remote) developers and designers to deliver products that delight our customers.
• Validate product opportunities through various methods of testing with a focus on usability testing and experimentation.
• Drive lean experimentation, working with a solid hypothesis framework, and able to translate results to next steps by analysis & reporting.
• Be the first point of contact for all teams with respect to new product requests, feature optimisations, bugs etc and coordinate/prioritise in line with the roadmap.

What you have

• 4+ years of relevant product management experience
• Experience with platform / marketplace / e-commerce business
• Experience working in a cross functional product team environment
• You are a problem solver, result driven and analytical
• Teamwork / Collaboration
• Curious to customer behavior
