About the role

We are looking for sales professionals to join our team and help us dominate the market with the solution we are offering.

As a Hunter Account Executive, you will be responsible for working a pipeline from prospecting to Closed Won in our core markets. You’ll partner with our marketing and business development teams to generate leads and opportunities. Through these interactions with prospects, you’ll help determine how Vertify can help solve the problems they are facing.

The perfect candidate has a track record of consistently exceeding sales quota and embodies Vertify’s core values.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Identify, target, qualify, and gain trust/access to new prospects that fit our ideal customer profile.
  • Generate new opportunities to develop a sales pipeline to support quota attainment via outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Manage time to strike the right balance of performing outbound calls to foster pipe creation while performing consistent follow-up to manage the sales pipeline.
  • Manage a complex sale process with multiple decision-makers/influencers, including but not limited to: Marketing, sales, and revenue operations leadership and executives.
  • Document details of identified opportunities to ensure accurate and timely follow-up on opportunities, leads, and prospects consistently on a daily basis.
  • Constantly striving for self-improvement and possessing the curiosity to stay abreast of industry and market trends by utilizing various research organizations, sales books, and collateral.
  • Make presentations to identified ICP and decision-makers.
  • Draft and deliver proposals and partner with customers to push opportunities through to a signature.
  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership, sales development reps, and marketing to identify, support, and improve specific marketing programs, lead generation campaigns, and targeted sales activities.
  • Work with product, leadership, and customer success to proactively address problems
  • Work with sales engineers and product where required to address customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback to company leadership on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings.
  • Provide forecasts on the best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods

About you

  • 2+ years experience in a sales role (experience in SaaS, marketing, and sales software preferred).
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills to build professional relationships and create rapport both over the phone and in-person with prospects at all levels, including executives and owners.
  • The drive to uncover opportunities via phone conversations through probing questions in order to create a vision for our prospects as to how they will benefit from Vertify’s solutions.
  • Learning from failures - seeing opportunities for learning when prospects do not respond to emails or request no further solicitations.
