Our Product
Our product restores publishers’ existing monetization technologies for adblock users who consent to it, in a way that complies with the lighter Acceptable Ads standard, a happy middle ground for users and publishers. Users also have the ability to opt out if they prefer no ads at all.
Through a complex cloud-based system, we use sophisticated algorithms and real-time analysis to determine which ads qualify for an optimal user experience, all in the time it takes for a website to load. We process vast numbers of requests, processing tens of billions of ad impressions per month.
The Sales Operations Manager is a key role within the Sales organization. The Sales Operations Manager will be the primary point of contact for the Sales Team, Publisher Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal and other departments. The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for inbound and/or outbound lead generation for new publisher sales to both new and existing customers, as well as future sales. The Sales Operations Manager will also be responsible for sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, CRM maintenance, SIC plan design & administration and other sales support functions. This position reports directly to the VP Revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Blockthrough’s core products via successful completion of a required sales training program and utilize this knowledge to successfully lead Sales Support operations
- Manage reporting and analytics to ensure that the Sales team consistently meets or exceeds daily sales performance metrics
- Work with VP Revenue to create and maintain a world-class Sales culture, focused on delivering results by providing ongoing coaching and development of sales support members, utilizing the analysis of performance metrics to drive strategic direction, as well as motivate and drive sales performance functions
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Sales Team and address calls for most general business issues; escalate to VP Revenue, as appropriate
- Effectively manage Sales Operations expenses to ensure delivery of Company margin goals
- Work closely with Publisher Success and Yield Analyst teams to address contract issues or concerns and to ensure the timeliness of Publisher performance reviews
- Identify opportunities and weaknesses within books of business (leads/funnel) and make proposals to create value and increase operational efficiency
- Work effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Publisher Success, and Product/Technology Development) to develop effective sales strategies that promote sales to new and existing customers
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings and promote Blockthrough’s product solutions and brand to increase leads and drive sales
- Complete Sales forecasts and sales activity reports and presentations in a timely mannerOther duties may be assigned
What You'll Need
- 3-5 years of experience in sales operations as an Ad Tech subject matter expert with proficiency creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards
- Bachelor’s degree required; technical or business-related field preferred
- Ability to understand high-level sales and account management strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of Ad Tech metrics, including CRM applications and email marketing strategies
