Cascadia Scientific is seeking a Business Development Representative who will be based in our South Surrey office. The opportunity to work from home for several days a week can be discussed after initial training is completed. This BDR will primarily be calling on companies in Australia and will work modified hours to cover such outreach appropriately.

Compensation starts with a base salary and is supplemented by commissions.

About you:

1. The candidate should have a background in technical sales or mechanical engineering sales.
2. University degree in related field (BA, BSc, BEng)
3. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally at an early-stage, high-growth and fast-paced technology-related (ideally software) company
4. Experience with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) companies considered an asset
5. Go-getter mentality with the ability to work independently with little guidance
6. Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM system, and Sales Enablement tools (Vidyard, Salesloft) considered an asset
