Job description
At Like Family you will be involved in shaping a product that puts technology in service of real human challenges. We only ship features & improvements that deliver value to our customers & their communities.

We are in the process of rebuilding our backend platform with a Microservice architecture, and just completed a rebrand and Front-end rebuild! We're using some cool tech, such as Docker, Node.js, React, Storybook, NATS messaging and Google Cloud Platform.

This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in a high growth startup that is highly agile and responsive with a fantastic, low-ego team. We're currently looking at filling both front-end and back-end roles.

Technical requirements

• 3+ years of experience building web applications in JavaScript
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, with experience working with React or Node.js. You write efficient, scalable and testable code.
• Very strong technical understanding of the web. You'll have the ability to apply that understanding to building responsive, and intuitive front-end implementations in React, or building out resilient and scalable back-end services in Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm and Google Cloud (or an equivalent cloud-based platform) is a definite bonus!
