We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who’s keen for a new challenge, to come and join our SaaS startup team here in Sydney. At Cascade we’re all about the product and the tech, and we love our friendly, collaborative environment which allows us to do those things well.

Cascade is a strategy execution platform, which helps organisations large and small to plan, manage, and track the implementation and execution of their strategies - every day we’re enhancing our SaaS platform to better meet our user community’s needs, and every day that community gets bigger: more users, at more clients, in more countries. About You and the Role

You’re already a great developer, but you want to go further - this is where you really get to take a leap into the world of SaaS. You'll be working hands-on with the product, and pushing big and small projects into production. You'll get involved with both the back-end and the front-end, as well as all the processes that support a growing and evolving SaaS platform. All this while having the chance to show your ability to work on things independently and be a valuable member of a team.

You’ll also be someone who is keen to work on the product from a variety of angles - improving existing features, building new features, getting your hands on the infrastructure, implementing new UI patterns, creating integrations, and a whole lot of other things we have and haven’t attacked yet!

We’ll give you a friendly, collaborative team environment, great people to work with, and the opportunity to mould your role over the longer term and take your technology career in the directions you want to go. It’s a great chance for you to grow with the company and the product.

You’ll be bringing with you:

• 5+ years development experience.
• Strong JavaScript framework skills (if that’s with Ember, even better).
• Strong back-end skills, especially consuming and developing REST APIs (if that’s with PHP, awesome).
• All-round game with the usual suspects on the front-end - HTML 5, CSS 3, responsive design, etc.
• Solid understanding of relational database implementation (MySQL would be great).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (if that includes AWS, brilliant).
• Experience designing, developing, and running a SaaS application on a public cloud platform would be a massive plus.
• Passion for the job - you already love interesting tech, and we want to support that.
• Willingness to learn every day, and help others learn too.
• Desire to get your hands dirty and really get into the code.
