COO Job Description
• Execute strategies developed by the top management team/CEO.
• Oversee operations of the company.
• Lead a specific strategic imperative.
• Delegate responsibilities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and keep the CEO apprised of significant events.
• Communicate strategy and policy to employees.
• Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
• Foster employee alignment with company goals.
• Manage all projects related to pharmacy, supply and marketing.
• Oversee marketing initiatives.
• Act as an adviser and provide feedback on ideas and strategies based on research and best practices.
• Develop and drive a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization and hold the team accountable to achieving measurable improvements upon existing standards.
• Set performance and growth goals.
• Collaborate with the CEO on long-term plans for company growth.
• Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.
Education and Training
Education: The minimum educational requirement is your past success. A proven track record is the most impressive of all degrees.
Experience/Requirements: Healthcare and beauty industry experience an advantage, but not a requirement.
Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office.
Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role.
Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
