Doorsteps is the UK's 3rd Largest Online Agency - founded by Akshay Ruparelia. Akshay is looking for a reliable and dynamic Second-In-Charge.

To help us continue our growth, we’re seeking an experienced manager/director of operations to join our united team.

As an ideal candidate, you will have the scope to offer time, energy and whole-hearted commitment to learning, and growing the Doorsteps organisation, with entrepreneurial spirit; committing your experience to scaling the business. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries - growing a startup to a scale-up. You’ll work side by side with the Founder.

The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in estate agency - or scaling online business - and potentially time in financial services (mortgages).

Note: Equity offered on a target-based earnout structure.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals
Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
Work closely with human resources to lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a similar role/startups online or industry based
Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
Strong working knowledge of industry
Sales and business development experience
Customer service management experience

NOTE: - £30-40k OTE+ PLUS extremely lucrative share options scheme/equity ownership
