Founders Associate

At Archibald, we are looking to do direct-to-consumer differently. We are an ambitious e-commerce brand that is taking on one of the oldest industries in the world. Our existence relies on having customers rethink retail and their purchasing decisions and challenging them to break allegiances they have formulated with brands over the course of their lives.

Archibald is one of four start-ups (in the consumer retail, e-commerce tech, and big data verticals) started by our founder and we are now looking for someone to support him across the entire portfolio as each business enters its next phase of growth.

We are looking for an ambitious executive assistant for our CEO as we look to scale operations, grow out our teams, manage fundraising campaigns, restructuring, reporting, and general day-to-day planning. The role will also have 15% private support and out of hours requests so your flexibility and willingness to support a somewhat erratic individual is essential. You will be able to learn new skills quickly and used to the demands of a role such as this and have an extremely supportive and helpful nature, always willing to go the extra mile.

The role means you will be a direct support and an integral part of building four companies simultaneously. You will have exposure and will be asked to contribute on a wide variety of aspects from very basic operations and marketing strategy right through to investment planning and

The ideal candidate will be efficient, organized, a team player, and will have ambitions to eventually find their place focussing on a role in one of the businesses.

Given the nature of this role, the experience of the candidate is secondary to attitude, the ability to think laterally, grasp concepts quickly and problem solve.

This is an opportunity that can be suited for both an expererienced professional or even a fresh graduate and represents an opportunity to skip the standard career growth curve and test yourself in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.

Responsibilities

• Standard responsibilities of an assistant - we aren't going to list the boring stuff
• Liaising with different team members and stakeholders
• Ensuring all aspects of the business(es) are running smoothly
• Facilitating and encouraging networking both in the UK and the United States
• Managing development plans, conducting research, and executing any requests.
• Voicing opinions, challenging strategic plans Have the confidence to put on any hat requested and required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a top university
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
• Strong written, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• A curious nature and general interest in start-ups
• Ability to multitask (he is fully erratic)
• Ability to speak multiple languages (Italian is a plus) and general cultural appreciation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
