Business Development and E-commerce Growth Manager

Seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is passionate about the workings of an e-commerce business and can add value to building and scaling up the portfolio and sales of the company. This is a role that provides exposure to Business Development, Event management, E-commerce Operations and Community Building. We’d love to have someone on board who is ready to take on challenges to support the business and work dynamically in all areas of Business and Community Development.

Responsibilities:

• Market trends: Identify trends and products in Vegan space
• Portfolio Development: Identify and Onboard new Vegan Brands and Products, Contract and Negotiation.
• Marketing: Market the brands through Alt Mart and Track sales and performance
• Manage E-commerce and Digital Marketing Product Promotions: Whatsapp, Instagram, other online and offline channels
• Host Community and Brand Building Activities: Meetups and events
• Prepare performance reports and KPIs for Alt Mart growth
• Optimize Processes: Onboarding, Contract, other key processes
• Other Growth Activities to increase sales

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role - proven Business Development and business growth experience
• Knowledgeable about Business Development and Sales
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledgeable and experienced in E-commerce business operations
• Previous experience in Retail business preferred
• Social Marketing skills (whatsapp, telegram etc.) would be a plus
• Event Management and Brand Building experience would be a plus
• Ability to work with Ecommerce platforms preferred (shopify/woocommerce)

Compensation:

• Salary: 25K per month
• Commission: 5% on sales above current average sales
