Overview of the Department/Section

The Product Management Office (PMO) plays a crucial role in driving the success of our company by overseeing the entire lifecycle of our products. Product Managers are key to developing and executing strategies that align with organizational goals and meet customer needs.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Product Manager identifies customer needs and the broader business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill, articulates what success looks like for a product, and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our engineering department.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user needs, business requirements, and market trends to drive product development decisions.
• Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications to guide the engineering team.
• Work closely with designers and developers to ensure that product features are delivered with the highest level of quality and align with the product vision.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify market trends and opportunities for product differentiation.
• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Monitor and analyze key product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and iterate on product features and functionalities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to plan and execute product releases and upgrades, ensuring timely delivery and smooth deployments.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development and product management.
• Evangelize the product internally and externally, sharing the product vision, roadmap, and updates with relevant stakeholders and customers.
• Ensure that the product meets regulatory compliance and security standards, working closely with the compliance and security teams.
• Support the sales and customer support teams in product-related inquiries and trainings.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Manager, driving the success of software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA or other relevant qualifications are a plus.
• Solid technical background with a good understanding of web and mobile applications, microservices, and API economy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex technical details into user benefits and product strategies.
• Experience in conducting market analysis and competitive research to inform product decisions.
• Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas concisely.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and user experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
