Job Title: Project Manager (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $100 - $120 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Responsibilities:
- Assist the L&R technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in testing and deploying appropriate L&R solutions.
- Determine resource requirements, team roles and responsibilities, and schedule for effective project execution.
- Develop and review estimates and assumptions for the project’s schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models and best practices.
- Create weekly status reports, risk and issues log, and other project deliverables to ensure transparent communication.
- Manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, providing direction for project teams and closely monitoring the progress of deliverables and tasks.
- Collaborate closely with executive-level leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large-scale projects.
- At least 8 years of project management experience with analog and IP-based telephony recording for emergency communications networks or related technologies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a systems-thinking approach and attention to quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability with strong visual presentation and public speaking skills.
- Experienced in interfacing with executive-level management and delivering senior-level presentations.
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience with logging and recording technologies, including analog and digital, Networking, SQL, Security, Telephony, TDM, VoIP, and CTI.
- PMP certification.
- Solid technical experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency Services.
