Sponsor a Pet, a leading fundraising company supporting local animal nonprofits, is currently seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about animal welfare and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Collaborate with the team to develop engaging content for our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Social Media Management: Assist in the management of our social media accounts, ensuring our messaging is consistent, and content is of high quality.
Community Engagement: Interact with our online community, answering inquiries and comments professionally and promptly.
Trend Analysis and Research: Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices. Identify new opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
Campaign Support: Support in planning and executing social media campaigns and promotions in line with our marketing strategies.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key social media metrics. Assist in preparing performance reports and provide insights for optimization.
Influencer Outreach: Aid in identifying potential influencers, manage relationships, and coordinate collaborations.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and growth opportunities for our social media presence.
Administrative Support: Provide support to the marketing team, including managing spreadsheets, organizing files, and coordinating meetings.
Key Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Strong interest in social media platforms and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
Good organizational skills and able to meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
