Senior React Native Developer - Remote

Our engineering team is focused on delivering robust, testable software that will allow us to scale our core business and growing user base.

As a React Native Engineer at KaJ Labs, you will help develop core features of our React Native and React Web projects and integrate with our both teams. You'll use modern techniques, tools, and frameworks and can communicate the tradeoffs for your technical decisions. You'll drive features from start to finish, from gathering requirements with business stakeholders to leading technical design and implementation on all platforms. You write high-quality, testable code When mistakes are made, you dive deep into root-cause and focus on solutions. You work well in a small collaborative team; every member is a key contributor. You'll mentor junior engineers in delivering solutions and lead the team in best practices.

As a React Native Engineer, you will:
• Design the application architecture following modern React principles
• Develop clean, efficient code with accompanying unit tests
• Write integration tests to ensure code quality
• Participate in code reviews and invite others to review your work
• Champion the importance of addressing technical debt
• Be a force-multiplier for the development team; solutions you provide are simple, scalable, and enable engineers to code more effectively
• Be passionate about learning and sharing knowledge with the rest of the team
• Work on the frontend React.js framework
• Develop clean, efficient code with accompanying unit tests
• Write integration tests to ensure code quality
• Help build and maintain a reusable components library

What we're looking for:
•Knowledge of Blockchain technology and concepts
• Experience in a startup environment; you're a self-starter
• Experience with React, React Native, Typescript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with Redux or other state management frameworks
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimizing the mobile experience
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Asana)
• Experience with Javascript (React.js), HTML, CSS (SASS), CSS-in-JS (Styled-Components), and HTML
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of web technologies, mobile technologies, and UI/UX standards.
• Experience with cross-browser development and responsive web-design
• Experience with cross-device development
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Experience with A/B testing
•Ethereum specific knowledge will be an added advantage: Go, Solidity (Ethereum, BSC, EVM), and experience with Mist wallet, Mix IDE, and open-source Ethereum clients & forks.
•Cryptographic techniques such as hash, symmetric-key encryption, public-key encryption etc.

Bonus:
• Experience with NodeJS a plus.
• Familiarity building tools across multiple apps or platforms
