- Requirements gathering from product team
- Software architecture for existing and future products
- Reviewing code and ensuring that it's designed with backward compatibility, future maintainability and expandability
- Ensuring that the software development team follows thorough software documentation processes
- Influcencing the team to develop software with latest technologies, efficiencies and security practices
- Estimating development timelines for various projects
- Advising the Testing team on state-of-art testing practices for quality software development
