The Role

Colorado is one of the fastest growing startup markets in the country and Paired is at the helm. Paired's mission is to be the de facto community for Colorado startup leaders. Our community is comprised of founders, investors, and senior operators.

We’re offering a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a true startup environment while gaining significant exposure to the Colorado startup community and its leaders. We are seeking an ambitious marketing and community-obsessed lead who is excited to use their marketing and interpersonal skills.

This may be part-time but you will be treated as a true member of the team. We will trust in you to make decisions. You will be an active collaborator and deliver on ongoing responsibilities every week.

Are you versed in bottoms-up growth marketing and excited to implement a range of growth strategies, including marketing automation, social media strategy & content?

What to expect, the scope of work & our vibe:

Identify and execute novel and strategic growth opportunities
Create & implement several emerging marketing initiatives that engage the Colorado startup community and startup job seekers; including: owning phases of our marketing launch, growing key campaigns, creating content, establishing marketing automation workflows & crafting our social media strategy.
You should be versed in digital production in multiple formats including social media, content, lead generation & drip campaigns.
You'll test, analyze and report ad copy and creative, shopping data-feed optimizations and landing page experiences
We are collaborative and you will have the opportunity to learn, ideate and execute.
You will gain experience and exposure to the various aspects of building a startup while working on dynamic marketing and community/ network growth projects.

You should have these qualities:

Self-motivation and self-management - proactiveness and proven ability to take ownership and driven to work with limited instruction
Resourceful, creative thinker
Enjoy networking and professionally engaging with others
Hilarity is appreciated, egos are not!
Work ethic - reliability and responsibility, can-do attitude, demonstrated attention to detail and high level of mental aptitude
Preferably experience with Twitter, LinkedIn, MailChimp, Airtable, Google Spreadsheets, Canva, & Google Docs
Excellent written and communication skills

The details:

Comp: The program is a paid posting with a blend of base comp and commission.
Work schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible.
Hybrid of virtual and in-person work.
