We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director who will lead our Go-To-Market Strategy. The successful candidate is extremely motivated and excited about the opportunities in the cutting-edge AI computer vision industry. This individual will help refine our go-to-market strategy and meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
As part of a startup team, the Sales Director & Go-to-Market Leader will be responsible for developing and driving sales strategies, tactics and action plans. This individual will also have significant input into the Company's marketing strategy and product roadmap going forward. Successful execution on all of these fronts will be required to achieve your growth targets. Your duties will include hitting aggressive growth targets, developing relationships in existing verticals, identifying product-market-fit in new verticals, and understanding customer trends.
As Sales Director & Go-to-Market Leader you will:
Exceed aggressive annual sales targets
Drive growth in existing markets and identify opportunities in new verticals
Implement and execute strategic growth plans
Develop excellent relationships with the decision makers to gain both mind-share and market share
Understand the technology, understand systems requirements, and differentiate the Company's solutions
Communicating effectively and efficiently
Understand customer challenges to create features and functionality required to win global specifications
Properly forecast and close opportunities with strategic accounts
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
Act with a sense of urgency
A qualified Sales Director & Go-to-Market Leader will have a/an/the:
Proven track record of sales performance in the automation / computer vision / AI industry with strategic, global accounts in a solutions sales environment
Proven track record of delivering tremendous sales growth with technical new product introductions, preferably in the automation / computer vision / AI industry
Ability to work independently and travel frequently or as required to excel in the role
Ability to succeed in a startup environment through a tremendous commitment to the success of the organization
Experience in any / all of the following: start-up environment, industrial automation, automation in the food and beverage industry, computer vision, machine vision, artificial intelligence, or new product introduction and go-to-market strategy development
Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Technical skills (electrical, vision, and software) necessary to successfully understand customer challenges and craft solutions to deploy Company technology to address those challenges.
Ideal Experience & Education:
- Technical Degree is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered
- Proven sales experience in a technical environment with a excellent track record for exceeding sales targets within key, strategic, or global accounts
- Experience in selling technical products to all levels of management within accounts
- History of exceptional performance
