The Role

Point is creating the next generation American Express by building a modern charge card focused on affluent young professionals. We’re doing this by applying modern technology and design to card payments. We’ve raised over $80M from tier 1 investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar and Y-Combinator.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our specialized team to help launch our first charge card. We need an experienced recruiter who can own talent acquisition from sourcing to offer all while providing an excellent candidate experience. This person will ideally be located in San Francisco or NYC.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and own recruitment lifecycle sourcing for all open job requisitions across Tech + Product.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to help develop sourcing strategies and come up with creative ways to attract new talent.
  • Build diverse candidate pipelines for multiple roles at varying stages in the process.
  • Brainstorm ways to approach basic Boolean searches, internet searches, networking, and other sourcing methods.
  • Conduct competitive analysis on how other companies are approaching sourcing.
  • Work on strategic events and initiatives to attract top talent.

Requirements:

  • 2 -3 years as a Technical Recruiter at an early stage start-up or a growing organization.
  • The ability to source for multiple job requisitions across the Engineering organization.
  • Experience sourcing and/or recruiting for Backend, Frontend, and Mobile.
  • Strong organizational/project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, comfortable with communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace and ever-changing environment.
