Lokafyer Growth Specialist - Remote International Team - Make Travel About People Not Just Places

Lokafy connects travellers with locals, called Lokafyers - for an experience that’s like having a friend who shows you around their city. We're based in Toronto but we’re expanding quickly to cities all over the world, from Cape Town to Hong Kong and everywhere in between (over 300 cities). The Lokafyer growth specialist role is the key to growth and scale at Lokafy since you would have the biggest impact on the experience we provide to Lokafyers and travellers.

What you'll do:

• Recruit Lokafyers from all over the world so can expand on the cities and languages we offer
• Interview potential new Lokafyers to determine if they would make a good fit
• Experiment to discover effective new recruitment channels and improve current recruitment playbooks
• Track metrics and analyze feedback to continuously learn and improve Lokafyer quality and retention
• Use data to anticipate Lokafyer recruitment needs
• Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and participate in product development
• As needed, also contribute to operations team tasks including communicating with travellers and Lokafyers through email, phone and messaging and managing bookings

We'd love to work with someone who...

• has great communication skills (both written and verbal, especially verbal)
• loves to talk to people and get to know them
• is efficient, reliable and able to work independently
• is continuously learning
• is resourceful (able to figure stuff out by researching online)
• takes pride in their work and enjoys challenges
• English fluency is a must and if you also speak another language, especially German, Spanish, French, Portuguese or Italian it's a plus because we offer Lokafy tours in these languages.

Please note: The salary indicated on Angel is annual. The compensation is $350-525 USD per month (325-500 EUR per month). This is a remote position intended for people based in countries with low cost of living.
