People and Culture Manager (Internship/Advisory convertible to full-time after)

*Advisory- this is a 3 to 6 month internship convertible to a full-time position following the initial period, depending on performance output and fit.

Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and implementing People & Culture strategies and initiatives that align with FactWise's business strategy
2. Developing, maintaining and role modelling a culture that is open to change and innovation, and fosters collaboration, respect, accountability and striving for excellence
3. Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliances
4. Assisting the senior leadership team to build an empowering workplace through effective performance management and feedback, coaching and support
5. Managing employee performance and salary review processes
6. Assisting with full-cycle recruiting as required
7. Creating, updating, maintaining and improving on all HR related policies
8. Acting as the main contact for People & HR matters
9. Partnering with senior leadership team to implement strategies for employee engagement and retention
10. Managing the onboarding and exiting process for employees

While this role is open to candidates with diverse backgrounds, it is best suited to candidates with

1. A minimum of 2+ years of HR experience in the above areas;
2. Prior tech industry experience;
3. Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, and knowledge of regulations surrounding HR practices;
4. A degree or relevant qualifications
