Cofounder & VP of Product Development

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The VP, Product Develpoment will help lead the building of key features that empower truepipe.io to scale its business.

The details this person will work on are:

• QA efforts
• UI/UX design efforts
• Frontend/Backend Engineering
• Study Hubspot APIs for the availability of data to verify each datapoint
• Hosting and Deployment efforts
• Chrome extension product development (how to structure specific models, integrations, features, etc.)
• Login/signup and user onboarding module
• User profile and Hubspot account management
• Launch extension on chrome store
• Internal reporting on business metrics and KPIs

You will work together with leadership, and other teams to ensure customers have the information they need to take the first step in their journey with us.

KEY TASKS & DUTIES:

• Leverage competitive research, customer data, and your understanding of our strategy to evolve core areas of the customer experience
• Build a prioritized product roadmap that ensures your projects increase engagement, customer trust and retention
• Devise solutions that appropriately balance ease of use and quality while creating value for customers
• Own the quality of the product and have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality to deliver world-class software in every release
• Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate customer feedback into your features

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within a high-growth start-up
• Ability to translate business goals into technical requirements
• Understanding of how to create simple user interfaces and contribute to product design decisions by balancing function, style and ease of execution
• Ability to clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, tailoring your verbal and written communications to your audience
• Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to lead through influence rather than direct authority
• Experience driving innovation is ideal

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• This is an equity only position to start, this startup is currently being bootstrapped by the founder who has multiple previous exits. A technical cofounder will be brought on board to help develop an MVP for a low cost entry subscription SaaS based model. Enterprise functionality will follow suit, and the percentage of equity will be determined by experience and the ability to bring a product to market as quickly as possible.
