We are looking for a Director of Independent Testing to join our team! This position will be responsible for creating and leading the Independent Risk Testing and Control Validation Program, which is informed by and feeds into the results of the Reserve Trust’s assessments. They will be responsible for overseeing the testing and control validation and works to ensure the robustness of the Risk program. In addition, they will be responsible for establishing and/or maintaining the methodology by which Reserve Trust executes independent testing and for developing its annual testing plan, covering key control validation, including adherence to policies and standards, and implementation remediation plans. This position will report to the Head of Risk and work closely with other leadership roles across Reserve Trust. What You’ll Do: **** · Designs and maintains an independent testing framework and associated program by building and codifying protocol for testing, developing tools and templates for testing/control validation activities and training a team to effectively use the program to identify strengths and weaknesses associated with key controls.· Develops a quarterly and then annual testing plan by collaborating with the Reserve Trust leadership across the company to identify the most critical areas to test. This includes creating a testing schedule and executing against it.· Supervises the testing process and oversees the creation of reports of findings· Creates reporting for inclusion to the Risk reports to Executive management and the Board of Directors. · Lead, manage and support testing teams as well as the people development as this role evolves.

Basic Qualifications: *· Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s/Advanced Degree preferred· 8 - 10 years of retail and commercial banking experience along with experience with developing and executing a testing or QA/QC program.· 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience· Comprehensive knowledge of laws and regulations impacting the financial services industry· Knowledge of Colorado state banking laws and regulations preferred· Experience in Risk, Compliance, and/or Audit or understanding of Risk, Compliance, and Audit programs· Proven ability to identify issues using data and observation· Thorough understanding of payments, commercial banking, product development (PDLC), software development (SDLC) in a FinTech or bank environment· Extensive knowledge of testing and experience creating and maintaining a testing program· Extensive experience working the business to improve their control environment· Must be able to extract testing results for reporting purposes tailored to different audiences and levels of management up to and including the Board · Ability to work with stakeholders across groups and at different levels of the organization · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision· Experience in a start-up environment or with start-up initiatives *Key Competencies:

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $125,000 – 150,000. Reserve Trust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
