Founded in 2021, WealthMore's mission is to make "Smart Money" accessible to all investors. We founded the company to address the need to make sound financial advise available to all investors interested in growing their wealth regardless of their net worth or assets under management (AUM).
WealthMORE is primarily a “managed” investment experience where users have access to expert advisors, vetted and covered investments, and a community experience. WealthMORE makes the benefits of a team of experts managing your money accessible to all for a low monthly fee.

Using our digital experience and platform, our expert financial advisor share investment oversight, financial and retirement planning services, 529 planning, tax loss harvesting, portfolio rebalancing, and educational content around wealth management to our community of users. We believe our "1 to many users" model can help make more Americans financially savvy and equipped to grow their wealth.

Based in Philadelphia with advisors across the U.S., the firm will operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).

The Role:
Ready to build an amazing user experience? Our early-stage startup is being built by passionate, can-do, established leaders who were fortunate to have developed a product and user experience that excites every customer/advisor they talked to! We are looking to welcome a Head of Engineering to build and launch our consumer facing investing and wealth management app.

There is a meaningful equity stake for the right candidate. We want an owner with an owner's mindset in every sense of the word.

What you will be responsible for doing:

Strategy & Influence - Collaborate on company-defining activities shaping the culture, pitching investors and public relations.
Be Hands-on - Ideally, you actively code full stack and you +2 can build and ship the product. We have a budget for a small team (including you) to start, so you will need to be hands on
Lead by example - Manage and run the engineering team.
Build a world class team that will ship a scalable secure cloud SaaS/BaaS product
Collaborate and execute the AI vision – shape data architecture, build data pipelines, establish data dictionary, schemas, model; manage the data platform to orchestrated product roadmap

What you have done (experience matters):

You have been a Head of Engineering before: You built a highly used product from scratch. Ideally, you did this as a founder or CTO/CPO/CEO at your own startup.
You’ve attracted talent, built, and managed teams of 10+. Have a set of engineers you’ve worked with that want to work with you again.
Domain expertise - consumer banking and retail investing
Built Enterprise applications from ground up, implemented, and scaled – B2B SaaS
Have worked with a SaaS provider to leverage existing APIs and faciliate speed to market
React, Python, Java, Lisp, Prolog, and C++ and other AI/ML language are in your tool belt
Have a GSD (get stuff done) and a Can-Do mindset
