EV and Fleet Charging Business Development Consultants
Position SummaryOur team is hiring Business Development Sales Consultants in the rapidly growing (EV) electric vehicle arena. You will be responsible for developing multi-unit residential EV charging stations and commercial and industrial applications.
Description:The Senior Sales Consultant role will generate substantial revenue and develop our charging station network opportunities. In addition, you will play a key role in expanding EnergyOne’s sales in your dedicated market. This position will be responsible for business development in our Arizona market. The successful candidate will identify well-qualified prospects and drive the sales of EV stations, construction, installation, and software into multi-unit residential apartments, condominiums, and commercial fleets.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience selling into our target segments: rental apartment buildings, high-rise condominiums, condominium associations, property management companies, commercial real estate, multifamily real estate, and developers. This position is an excellent opportunity for eager, ambitious sales builders to establish a growing territory with tremendous growth potential with a national and growing company.
This position will have revenue, unit, and geographic expansion targets. Additionally, we expect the successful candidate to transition into a sales and territory management role with their ongoing success.
We’re looking for a strategic and networked industry professional eager to make a name in a rapidly expanding business and sector. This role requires multi-unit and commercial real estate experience and knowledge since your day-to-day work will strategically and aggressively be pursuing installation sites.
Requirements
● Identify well-qualified prospects in commercial real estate (multifamily, office, retail, and development), parking management, and corporation market segments.
● Establish contact with key decision-makers for sustainability programs within prospective organizations● Create and deliver concise and compelling sales presentations for prospective customers● Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
● Develop long-term customer relationships through exceptional post-sales support and service
● Communicate frequently across the EnergyOne business development, sales, and marketing team to share best practices and lessons learned
● Track record of successful technical and consultative sales performance● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
● Self-starter with the ability to organize and prioritize sales efforts for maximum effectiveness
● Demonstrated ability to explain complicated technical subject matter in a simple, concise manner
● Willingness to work very hard in a new, highly competitive industry to achieve sales targets
● Exceptional ability to connect with high-level decision-makers and convey● Confidence, sincerity, and credibility in representing EnergyOne products and services● Not required, but a major asset previously selling EV charging equipment.
Requirements :
Experience selling to Residential Property Managers and/or Commercial Property Managers
Experience selling to developers and builders
Develop a thorough understanding of EnergyOne high-tech EV charging station product line
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
3 to 5 years of work experience in outside direct sales or sales management.
Ability to travel within the state.
