Part Time Warehouse Team Lead

Reporting to the Fulfillment Manager, you will lead the front-line of Vention’s pick & ship operations. You will help implement new processes to help improve the quality and efficiency of our current processes and infrastructure.

More specifically, you will:

• Inspire a team of 8-12 workers executing pick and ship operations in a way to maximise team output and reach ambitious quality and efficiency targets
• Maintain a positive work environment with a high degree of motivation and commitment towards business objectives
• Assist in assessing areas for improvement and identify solutions, and clear roadblocks with other stakeholders
• Coach individuals in their development and empower them to reach their goals
• Maintain relationships with key contacts involved in the day-to-day operations and ship orders according to Vention’s commitment schedule
• Contribute to the improvement and scalability of operational processes and tools
• Participate in daily planning activities

Requirements

• Between 1 to 3 years of proven experience in directly leading teams or warehouse operations
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Goal-oriented, with a strong desire to achieve results
• Proven organizational, planning and project management skills, an asset
• Prior experience with pick and ship or operations, an asset
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends, when necessary
