BoxKnight is a same and next day delivery service. We work with e-commerce retailers to offer their customers fast and personalized deliveries, allowing them to compete with Amazon Prime. We use the local inventory in warehouses or storefronts that are closest to the client to ensure fast, efficient, and on time deliveries, always. Our deliveries are accomplished by independent contractors, who are onboarded based on their excellent service level.

BoxKnight is changing the game by allowing all retailers to offer fast deliveries, so that they don’t lose market share. We also work closely with our delivery partners, whether individuals or companies, to provide them with the tools and delivery volume they need to provide an awesome service and reach their potential.

Job Description:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for building out our internal accounting, financial planning & analysis, and revenue processes. They will work closely with the CEO and other Directors to build out budgets, internal and external reporting and help prepare for fundraising. Starting as an individual contributor, the Director of Finance will have the ability to showcase their ability to set up the right financial infrastructure before building out their own team.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Work with our external bookkeeping firm to ensure consistent and accurate data in our accounting system;
• Build out internal and external reports and dashboards to inform colleagues and external stakeholders (i.e., investors, consultants) on the company's financial performance;
• Build out P&Ls, forecasts and budgets;
• Work with the CEO and external firm to put together Series A materials;
• Act as a leader and advisor across business matters to ensure fiscal responsibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration;
• 5-10 of experience in a Finance role;
• 2-5 years of managerial experience;
• Proficient in Xero, Quickbooks and other accounting and financial software;
• Proficient in Excel and GSuite;
• Proficient in Asana a plus
