Co-Founder/Operations Manager

Mission driven brand in the food that is changing the way we think about the classic foods we love by making them healthy and delicious simultaneously.

Looking for a co-founder to join the ranks with me on the journey forward. Operations experience is preferred. That being said, we have many gaps to fill, so I'm open to experience.

What you'll do*

Plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations to ensure the most efficiency achievable.

Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.

Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while ensuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations.
Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving
Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies
Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume
Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes
Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
Ensure compliance to all budgets and manage communication for all management
Assist operation team to implement all business goals through appropriate lean manufacturing methodology
Maintain efficient quality of all products

Who you are

10 years experience in food plant operations
5+ years in CPG businesses
An experienced problem solver, calm in stressful situations
Self-starter who can work independently and think on their feet
Strong leadership, organizational, and planning abilities
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
Mentoring and coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
Highly proficient knowledge of CPG business operations
Experience with ERP systems, material handling suppliers, trucking, and logistics
Proficient in Excel (Microsoft and Google platforms)
Experience in specialty food, vegan, natural, and organic CPG a plus
